A Threads user asked me to cover herbal safety. They specifically asked about herb-drug interactions, and I knew I wanted to take it a step further. This article is jam-packed with info, so come back to it whenever you need.

I want to debunk the myth that something is automatically safe because it’s natural. I’ll also show you how to determine proper dosing, and of course I’ll provide a list of relevant herb-drug interactions so you can make informed choices.

My goal with this article?

To give you the tools to use and prepare herbs with both informed caution and confidence. Many people call herbalism the “original medicine,” and if that’s the case, then we need to combine modern scientific knowledge with traditional practice. We need to treat herbs like medicine, because, well… they are.
